New Series: Title IX at 50 through the eyes of Black Girls & Women

Throughout the month of June, Black Rosie Media will be exploring Title IX and its impact on Black girls and women over the years.


Be on the lookout for our special Title IX at 50 logos designed by Jordan Dabney. Jo and Black Rosie Media founder Erica L. Ayala worked a few callbacks to Mink and women in the 1970s into the new design.

Research by Moneque Walker Pickett et al suggests Title IX has had an adverse effect on Black girls and women. There are many reasons why, and we will explore them as the Title IX at 50 celebrations continues throughout the summer.
