WNBA News: Dallas Wings Waive Moriah Jefferson

Today the Dallas Wings announced they waived guard Moriah Jefferson. The 5-6 guard was selected #2 overall by the San Antonio Stars (now the Las Vegas Aces) in the 2016 WNBA Draft.

"We would like to thank Moriah for her time in Dallas and appreciate all her efforts on the court and in the community,” Wings President & CEO Greg Bibb said. “She is a consummate professional, and we wish her nothing but the best in all her future endeavors.”

Jefferson was traded to the Wings in the deal that landed Liz Cambage in Las Vegas. As a result, Dallas gained Jefferson, Isobel Harrison and two of the Aces' Draft Picks. Jefferson played 39 games for the Wings from 2020-2022.
