Satou Sabally:"I've already played my last game in Dallas."

The WNBA Star confirms she will not return to the Wings in 2025. Is New York a potential landing spot?

Both Satou and Nyara Sabally have confirmed they would love to play together in the WNBA as they did in their first-ever Olympics.

However, is this a possibility?

The speculation will swirl to the top once again after the elder Sabally, Satou, confirmed she will not return to the Dallas Wings.

"I've already played my last game in Dallas," she told media Thursday during her Unrivaled media availability with fellow Phantoms player Natasha Cloud.

When asked about playing with Nyara, Satou added, "Yeah, of course! In the future, I would love that."

Now, how soon is that future? Well, that's hard to say. As we've discussed on the Gotta Get Up podcast, if the Liberty are going to entertain an Oregon Ducks reunion – Nyara and Sabrina Ionescu are already in place – Satou would likely have to be comfortable playing off the bench.

Is this something the WNBA could do as she enters free agency for the first time?

Only time will tell. However, playing with Nyara and her good friend and former teammate Sabrina would be welcomed but perhaps not a guarantee. Satou will reunite with Sabrina next week as the Ducks duo will compete for the Phantoms in the inaugural season of Unrivaled.

"She's a great person and what we've always respected about each other is that work ethic," Sabally said about Ionescu. Sabally is excited for Ionescu to add to the chemistry already building.

Ionescu, a California native, was set to join Sabally and Natasha Cloud during the Unrivaled media sessions, but was absent. Sabally expressed sympathy for everyone impacted by the fires in Califonia, impliying that Ionescu was back in California

"My thoughts go out, first of all, to all the L.A and California residents that have been effected by the fires. We know that (Sabrina Ionescu) is coming back right. now," Sabally said.
